Greatest sprint car racer not named Kinser or Swindell?

Let's kick off some activity in the forums, who is or was the greatest sprint car racer not named Kinser or Swindell?

Other than my grandfather who raced in Ohio and PA in the 40'sand 50's but never got much, if any, name recognition, I would have to go for Jac Haudenschild.

Jac may not be the first name to come to mind, but he's always in the hunt. I know some of the newer guys are very good but only time will tell whether they have the staying power of Haud.

Of course if you really want to go back in sprint history you could make a good case for Pop Dreyer...he was an amazing man that I wish I'd had the chance to meet.

I always liked the "Buckeye Bullet" Dave Blaney. Although he went cup racing, I will always remember him at the wheel of the blue #10 Casey Luna Ford WoO car. What a ride!!

Pete
Donny Schatz or Joey Saldana
Blaney was always fun to watch especially at Sharon Speedway (which he owns, btw)...another Ohio driver who was great was Rusty McClure. I sponsored his grandson, Jerry, a few years back, so maybe I'm a bit prejudiced, but I always thought with a few breaks Rusty could have set the world on fire.
Jim, speaking of Ohio, there is Rollie Beale. I got to meet him at the Jackson Motor Speedway (Michigan) reunion in 2008. He was hard to beat in a Sprint car or old Supermodified.
That's funny. I was just looking at a 1:18 scale diecast replica of his Champ Car on ebay... I think Ohio drivers have a real incentive to be great since they are in the shadow of the PA Posse.

Doug Wolfgang.

How about the Welds--they broke many a ground back in the day in midgets and sprints

Once you take out Kinser, Swindell & Wolfgang, there's about a 25-way tie for 4th...!

Some good ones (some regional, some National) would be Brad Doty, Keith Kauffman, Rick ferkel, Bobby Allen, Ron Shuman, Leland McSpadden, Bobby Davis Jr., and Brent Kaeding.

Sorry... you asked for 1, but I couldn't stop there. You're all lucky I stopped when I did, or this could have been a real long post...!
Boy one name is hard to pin point. You would have to add the names Jack Hewitt, Steve Smith, Gary Bettenhausen.
