Remembering Dirt Racing at Nazareth

Nazareth 1/2 Mile Speedway (1988)
Nazareth National Speedway (1910-1984)

There was a time when two dirt tracks stood across from one another. They were Nazareth National & Nazareth 1/2 Mile. The 1/2 mile closed in 1988. Nazareth National would end in 1984, but in 1987 Pennsylvania International Raceway became an asphalt track. The name stayed the same until 1993. The track would then be known as Nazareth Speedway up until it's closing in 2004. Today, both tracks are now only sweet memories. Part of the front stretch grandstands are now located at the start/finish line at Watkins Glen.
