Little Ed's father Slick was a victim of a very brutal stong arm robbery in the driveway at his home Saturday morning. He was ailifted to the trauma center at Palmetto Richland in Columbia and is in ICU. The Item, A Sumter SC newspaper reported that Slick suffered a broken nose, pelvis, and bruised lung even though his injuries are far more severe than the media is reporting. Clarendon County deputies are searching for the three black males reponsible for this act of cowardice. If anybody has any information or may know somebody who does please contact the Clarendon County Sheriff's department. Please pray for Slick, his wife, and grandson Gibb that he pulls through this and makes a full recovery. Right now jail is the safest place for these three homeboy thug :ganstas. Turn them over to me and I'll show them the defination of pain and no mercy.

We will always remember "Lil" Ed ! He was always a gentleman in our presence and I'm sure others saw this in him also. Ed always drove a race car like he wanted others to race with him. We know from experience that he must have gotten his "feathers" ruffled sometimes as all drivers do, but he didn't start a brawl over it.
When Billy retired from racing, naturally Ed was invited to the banquet. He was racing and sent word he was so sorry but definitely wanted come. A lady approached us at some race after that and asked if we were the Biily Scott family. When we told her we were, she said Ed asked her to tell Billy he wanted one of the retirement shirts to keep. I asked her to leave me the address and we would see if there was any left and would send it to her. We tried to call the lady to tell her all that was left was 2x, but we got a message the number was not a working number. It was such an honor for him to ask for one. Our love and condolence to the entire family.
