Pop had A and B class cars at Eastside driven by Reseal "Gip" Gibson and Maxie Gentry. Pop was also known to set up cars for other local drivers. I have most of the family photos and will begin posting them as time permits.

  Hello Josh

Just letting you know how much I enjoyed your pictures of the modified and sportsman team of Pete Wilberger the ALL CHEVY SHOP CHEVROLETS, I was there when Maxey Gentry and Gip Gison drove them in the early 70s, I also remember Al Alhizer driving the Chevelle as well! The last time I remember seeing the car was between two buildings in Charlottesville I believe was the business of Beasley & Thacker heating & air condition which was a sponser on the car when Alhizer drove it!!

I`m currently building a 65 Chevelle that Buddy Campbell the #99.

Please email me back, I`m also a model builder of these cars and have gone to great lenghts to have decals made of each and every car I can locate!

Thanks

 Kevin
