As a kid in '70s my Dad and I always went to the races at Darlington. After the track was clear, the flagman would climb down from his perch, unlock the gate and the fans spread out in search of their favorite drivers. And all would autograph your book, program, or if you were really lucky they had a post card hand out. In any sports discussion the question of who was the greatest will always come up. Comparisons will be made between who from yesteryear could have competed in today's world and who today could have competed in the past. Then you get down to hall of fame discussions of why one person made a hall of fame class and questions of why another one never was nominated. These are questions that will go on as long as competitive sports exist.

Also thanks for getting the pictures to Robbie, some of them have already appeared on these sites. This doesn't mean the invitation to drop in is not still open, in fact it's an open invitation. It's been so, long but I hope you remember all the young people who spent friday nights through sunday afternoons at our house and how close racing families were. We may be older but our love grows more each year for people who the Lord puts in our paths. We go back to the 60's, don't seem too long when you say it fast,ha!
