Johnny you are so right about this website Up until Jeff started this we did not have much of a social life outside of Donna's friends. Now, our "social calandar" stays pretty full when April starts. It's also kinda cool when you meet someone you have talked with on this site. Most us us in the Columbia area meet often, do our thing at the speedway Donna and I plan on getting together with Scott's one evening this week since they don't live far away.I have my picture, racing history book and model car collection and Donna has her books from seminary in our office, so this is jokingly refered to as the Columbia branch and complaint department of RacersReunion.com./museum/seminary/Sumter Speedway media office/ TRACKS Magazine distibution and press room. In all Jeff and Dustin do a great job managing the day to day of the website and I take care of the small fires like inapproriate posts, nude pictures, pet birds and the like. For the most part this is a great group but a couple of folks like to feud and I don't mean in a friendly manner. I also ahave learned alot over the past two year because folks that have been there, done that, and got the trophies and championships to prove it contribute. Granted I got only far as karts but I did it with little money almost always ran in the top three, and won 8 races on a budget of about 500 a year. I finally had to get out when it was costing $200 to $300 per race just to run mid pack with good equipment. In karting now if you don't have factory backing your fighting an uphill battle. Alot of my friend now run bomber cars because less.
